In order to increase their income and achieve their personal finance goals sooner, a recent study found that, three in five (60 percent) of Canadians are looking to start a side hustle.
President of the Direct Sellers Association of Canada Petter Maddox said, as quoted in Global News, “The economy is changing and this has been intensified due to the pandemic. Many people, including younger Canadians, are looking for flexibility and work-life balance as they earn.”
The study report went on to say, “As the economy recovers, 60 per cent of those surveyed intend to find a second source of money flow within the next 12 months. A large portion of those included in this is those between the ages of 19 to 29 and students.”
